Scope and Contents The papers range from 1953 through 1979 and document Sherley's research and teaching interests.  The papers include correspondence, lecture materials, and research materials.  The vast majority of the correspondence relates to Sherley's research on Queen Elizabeth I and was written circa 1954, when Sherley lived in England.
