Scope and Contents

The collection includes a photo of Add Ran College at Thorp Springs, Texas. Of particular interest is her diary from 1890 as a student and an autograph book from 1885. There is also a program from Add-Ran College, a receipt for a Cotton Bowl ticket, a Fort Worth Press news clipping, and a poem, signed by ‘Lela.’

Abstract

The records document the activities of the TCU chapter of the Association of Women Students (AWS). The majority of the records relate to decisions made by the Association's Judicial Board. The records also include a small amount of material from the parent organization, the Intercollegiate Association of Women Students.
