Correspondence, course material, office files, photographs, and writings document the life and career of TCU English professor Cecil Williams, between 1925 and 1972. The bulk of the material covers the years 1939-1959. The writings make up the majority of the collection and include drafts of stories and articles published by Williams.
Most of the papers document his career before arriving at Texas Christian University.
Correspondence, typescripts of plays, book reviews, and reprints of articles from various literary journals. A large portion of the material is correspondence during her time as president of the Texas Institute of Letters.
