Lili Kraus Collection

Overview This collection contains articles on Kraus, Master Class Brochures, concert notices, papers related to her teaching at TCU, and news releases. The bulk of the papers are dedicated to the 1983 Gala for her retirement and the 1985 Lili Kraus video broadcast.   The collection does not contain Kraus's personal papers.

Linda Kaye Collection

Scope and Contents The collection documents Linda Kaye's career, particularly her time spent photographing TCU events. Series I consists of images taken at TCU events or of TCU faculty, staff, and students. Photos of sporting events and the performing arts comprise the majority of the series. Overview

The papers range from 1953 through 1979 and document Sherley's research and teaching interests.  The papers include correspondence, lecture materials, and research materials.  Approximately half of the collection is made up of research materials for Sherley's doctoral thesis on portraits of Queen Elizabeth I.  The other half of the collection is made up of lecture notes and other materials related to Sherley's teaching career.

Overview

The Love brothers - Cyrus, Samuel, James, John, and, eventually, Robert - fought for the Confederacy during the Civil War as part Terry's Texas Rangers and the 6th Texas Cavalry. They came from Tehuacana, Limestone County, Texas.



The collection contains letters written by several sons in the Love family during the Civil War, offering a glimpse into life on the battlefield and at home. Many famous people and battles are referenced.
