The papers include mostly war time news clippings, photographs, correspondence, and newsmaps. Of note are the photographs aboard the USS Missouri for the signing of the Japanese surrender. There are two full sized newspapers marking important occasions. The first is the Fort Worth Star Telegram, First 100 years of Fort Worth, 1949. The second is the Dallas Times Herald, regarding the opening of the DFW International Airport in 1973.
