Administrative History
Jeff Horn, newly retired from the School of Education in 1981, looked into a way to bridge the gap between retirees and health insurance information from Texas Christian University. He was the first chairman of the Ad Hoc committee and then served as the first president of the Retirees Association in 1983-1984. The Association has issued a monthly newsletter and also formulated a retirees handbook. All TCU retirees automatically become members of the TCU Retirees Association and there are no dues.
