TCU Alumni Association Collection
Scope and Content Summary
Artifacts, ephemera, correspondence, certificates of achievement, photographs, printed material, and other items document the TCU Alumni Association from 1906 through 1999. Alumnae Vera Turbeville Edelbrock, Mary Jane Howell, Dot McLean Mallicote, and Mary Jane Sunkel donated a significant portion of the collection. This includes the records of the TCU Quinq Club, a special group within the Alumni Association marking 50 years since their class's graduation. The Texas Christian University Alumni Association also donated audio reels of speeches given on campus, campus promotional videos and film reels with football game coverage. The collection also contains materials and items gathered and donated over several years to the TCU Library Special Collections department. Some of the additional material relates to the first location of TCU in Thorp Spring, Texas.

Administrative History
The TCU Alumni Association was established in the 1890s. Alumnae Vera Turbeville Edelbrock, Mary Jane Howell, Dot McLean Mallicote, and Mary Jane Sunkel donated collected ephemera, correspondence, photographs, certificates of achievement, as well as records of the Quinq Club, a special group within the Alumni Association marking 50 years since their class’s graduation. Separate items such and audio and video reels were donated separately from the TCU Alumni Association. Over the years, other TCU Alumni Association items and archival materials have been donated to the TCU Library Special Collections department.
