TCU Athletic Clothing
Scope and Contents
Four items of athletic clothing from the 1950s through 1990s document campus sports. The provenance of individual items is not known. The items include a TCU Women's Sports Association (WSA) letter sweater, a TCU WSA coach's jacket, a purple TCU athletic jersey with the number 26 and name Renfro on the back, and a TCU Women's Intramural Sports polo.

Biographical / Historical
The Women's Sports Association was founded at TCU in 1932 to encourage interest in sports and related activities among the women of TCU. The WSA disbanded in 1972 after Title IX sports came to TCU. Intramural sports started at TCU in 1925.
