Biographical / Historical
Lyle Kendall was a member of the English faculty at Texas Christian University from 1956-1966 and then onto the University of Texas at Arlington until his retirement in 1984. He was a specialist in 16th and 17th Century English literature, and held a summer fellowship at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington in 1953. He authored "A Descriptive Catalogue of the W. L. Lewis Collection, Part I." He also co-authored "A College Rhetoric" with Jim Corder.
