Biographical / Historical
Mrs. Dura Brakow Cockrell was the head of the TCU Art Department from 1899-1924. She was married to E.R. Cockrell, who was an alum of TCU, Professor of Government from 1899-1921, and later served as the dean of TCU's College of Law as well as Mayor of Fort Worth.
