Biographical / Historical

Stanley Trachtenberg earned a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University, a master's degree from Columbia University, and a PhD from New York University. He taught at Hood College, the University of Connecticut, and Northeastern University before arriving at TCU. He was a member of the English faculty at TCU from 1979 to 1996.
