Letter re: Big Bend National Park

Letter from Amon Carter to Franklin Roosevelt and H.L Ickes the presentation of the title for the land for the national park. Starting in 1936, Carter served as president of the Texas Big Bend Park Association which helped to establish a national park in the region. In 1944 he presented the deeds for the donation of the land by the state of Texas to Franklin Roosevelt.
