Series Scope and Contents
The series includes VHS tapes, arranged chronologically, containing footage related to Jim Wright’s career in Congress. The majority of the tapes consist of television interviews given by Wright. The tapes also include documentaries done on Wright, campaign ads, and footage of various events Wright attended. Boxes 78 and 79 contain two of the better documentaries available on Wright, Jim Wright – distinguished alumnus and The Speaker from Texas.
Due to copyright restrictions, TCU is unable to reproduce the footage from President John F. Kennedy’s speech in Fort Worth in 1963 (boxes 8-13).
