The John Wilson Photographs collection consists of over 400 printed photographs with captions, negatives, and glass lantern slides. The collection also includes four small paper photo albums. The photographs document the work of US Expeditionary Force in North Russia in 1919. The captions retain John Wilson's original spellings. The North Russia Transportation Corps Expeditionary Forces, consisting of the 167th (Operations) and 168th (Maintenance) companies, were sent to Murmansk in March and April 1819 to operate and maintain the Murmansk Railway.
