Scope and Contents

From the Collection: Diaries, notes, and records document the life and ministry of Robert Cannon Horn from 1868-1935. The first series includes the diaries of Mr. Horn from 1868-1935. These are mostly day-to-day accounts of his farming and ministry and provide information regarding marriage, funerals, cattle acquisition and breeding records. The diaries describe events in Lebanon and Hartsville, Tennessee and McKinney and Vineland, Texas. The second series contains scholarly notes and records from his years of ministry, 1847-1909. The records include sermons, baptisms, marriages, funerals, pastoral visits, and financial records.
